Lamborghini Huracán donated to Pope Francis sold at the auction of Monte Carlo at 715,000 euros

The unique Lamborghini Huracán RWD, donated to His Holiness Pope Francis on November 27, 2017, was sold for the sum of 715,000 euros during the RM Sotheby's auction on May 12 at the Grimaldi Forum in Monte Carlo.

The proceeds from the sale will be delivered directly to the Holy Father, who decided to allocate it as a percentage for: the reconstruction in the plain of Nineveh by means of the Pontifical Right Foundation "Aid to the Church in Need". The project aims to ensure the return of Christians to the Nineveh Plain in Iraq through the rebuilding of their homes, public facilities and places of worship.
The Community Pope John XXIII (women victims of trafficking and prostitution) on the tenth anniversary of the death of Don Oreste Benzi and on the 50th anniversary (in 2018) of the foundation of the community itself, "Progetto Casa Papa Francesco".
The two Italian associations that carry out activities especially in Africa, the Gicam of Professor Marco Lanzetta (hand surgery) and Friends of Central Africa who for years have been working with projects dedicated mainly to women and children.
The Lamborghini Huracán RWD of the Pope was created by "Ad Personam", the personalization department of Lamborghini. It comes in white Monocerus with yellow Tiberine stripes, which run along the body in homage to the colors of the flag of Vatican City.
