The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration issued a 'do not drive' warning for the Ford Ranger and Mazda B-Series pickup trucks.
According to the NHTSA, the 2006 Ranger and B-Series are equipped with Takata airbags that are under recall.
The administration has urged the public with these trucks to immediately have their airbags replaced due to faulty inflators.
Under certain conditions, the airbag inflators can explode, spewing shrapnel into the cab.
