Stormbringer is the first album of two album released by the married couple John Martyn and Beverly Kutner and was recorded under the direction of Paul Harris in Woodstock,New York.
Stormbringer is in the mold of electric Fairport Convention of this period. The sound is folk-jazz oriented and was inspired also by The band as the album includes Levon Helm on drums. The album was recorded and mixed in just 8 days and was predominated by jazzy undertones,spirit lifting vocals,and buttery folk guitar.
