Martyn Wyndham Read in his first UK release features a selection of Australian outlaw ballads the songs are story-songs of the legendary outlaw Ned Kelly and his ilk. From 1960 to 1967 Sussex born folk singer Martyn Wyndham Read lived in Australia where he first heard the old songs sung by some of the station hands at Emu Springs where he worked.
