The Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 and Note 5 Pro have been around for a month now, and they are selling well. But are they really all that good?
The two smartphones are strategically targeted at the budget category, Rs 10,000-Rs 16,000, to be precise.
And just like other Android phones in this bracket, Redmi Note 5 and Note 5 Pro bring a combination of top-of-the-line specifications and aggressive pricing.
Redmi Note 5 Pro packs the Snapdragon 636 processor with RAM variants up to 6GB, vindicating its Pro moniker and 64 GB of storage. Redmi Note 5 Pro is also the first Xiaomi smartphone in the Redmi lineup to boast of 6GB RAM.
features a 5.9 inch, 18:9, 1080x2160  display, and a 12 and 5 megapixel dual camera setup along with a 20 megapixel front shooter.

Redmi Note 5 comes with a 2 GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor with 4GB RAM and a choice between 32 and 64GB of internal storage.
