Dr. Michael Schulenberg, the physician who saw Prince in the two weeks before his death, offered to pay $30,000 to the U.S. to settle a federal civil violation. According to CNN, Schulenberg’s attorney denied liability but offered the settlement “in order to avoid the expense, delay, and unknown outcome of litigation.”
