小平智がキム・シウー（韓国）をプレーオフで破って米ツアー初優勝を遂げた。青木功、丸山茂樹、今田竜二、松山英樹に続いて日本人男子で米ツアー5人目の優勝者になった。
小平は「こんなに早く勝てるとは思っていなかった。やっとスタートラインに立てた。うれしい」と笑顔で話した。
首位と6打差の12位から出た小平智は7バーディ、2ボギーの「66」で回り通算12アンダーとし、2位スタートながら後半に崩れたキムに並んだ。
18番で行ったプレーオフ2ホール目まではともにパー。米ツアー2勝で知名度のあるキムへの声援が大半を占める中、17番（パー3）に移った3ホール目で7.5mのバーディパットを沈め、ガッツポーズ。バーディパットを外したキムを下した。

Koppei Satoshi broke Kim Siwoo (Korea) in the playoffs and won the first race in the US tour. Following Isao Aoki, Shigeki Maruyama, Ryuji Imada, Hideki Matsuyama, he became the Japanese men's fifth winner of the US Tour.
Kodaira said, "I did not expect to win so fast, I finally made it to the start line, I am happy," he said with a smile.
Koppei Satoshi who ranked from the 12th place with six battings and the top ranked with 7 birdies, 2 bogey "66" and totaled 12 under and made it lined up with Kim who collapsed in the second half while starting second.
Both are up to the playoff 2nd hole at 18th. While cheering for Kim, who has a well-known name for two races in the US tour, occupies the majority, he got a 7.5-meter birdie putt at the third hole moved to number 17 (par 3) and guts pose. I lowered Kim who removed Birdie putt.
