India's medal tally surges to 65 on day 11. In a spectacular finish, Shuttler Saina Nehwal beat PV Sindhu to clinch the gold at the commonwealth games. Nehwal beat Sindhu 21 - 18, 23 – 21 while Manika Batra and Sathiyan G. won the bronze in TT mixed doubles. India has so far bagged 26 gold, 19 silver and 20 bronze. Joshna Chinappa and Dipika Pallikal won silver in women's doubles squash. World no. 1 Shuttler Kidambi Srikanth had to settle for a silver as he lost to Malaysia's Lee Chong Wei in the men's singles' final.
