White Castle Adds Plant-Based
Impossible Burger to Its Menu The fast-food chain will be serving up the vegeterian burger at 140 locations around New York, New Jersey and Chicago. White Castle’s Impossible Burger is topped with smoked cheddar cheese, pickles and onions. The burger by itself will sell for $1.99 or it can be purchased as part of a combo meal. Impossible Foods, who owns the burger's recipe, says it's made with wheat protein, coconut oil, potato protein and heme, which contains the taste and aroma of meat.
