Sears Shuts Down Last Chicago Store

After 80 years in business, it's time to say goodbye Sears shoppers.
Reuters reports that the retailer plans to close its last Chicago store in July.
The famous 110-story Sears Tower transformed Chicago's skyline in the 1970's.
Sear's sales plummeted from $53 billion in 2006 to $16.7 billion in 2017.
The remaining Sears location, which will close, is located in the Six Corners shopping mall. It will be replaced by new buildings, which include a movie theater.
