ICICI Videocon Loan Case RBI revealed probed ICICI dealings, says allegation could not be established

The ICICI Videocon Loan Case is only getting murkier. The RBI has now revealed that it had probed the ICICI dealings with Videocon back in 2015 and had raised red flags in the case. The RBI had carried out a detailed scrutiny of the complaint against ICICI Bank’s dealings with Videocon 3-years ago but found no evidence of reciprocal benefit, stating the allegation 'could not be conclusively established'. These findings will now be taken up by investigative authorities probing the case.
