With less than a week to go for IPL season 11, Cauvery row has threatened to disrupt the latest season. Fringe groups in Tamil Nadu are asking for a complete boycott on IPL. Some are even saying if matches continue despite the call for ban, then the players will be kept in custody. 5 political groups have called for a ban on IPL till the centre sets up the Cauvery Water Management Board. Whets worse, the threats are coming in not just from politicians but also from civil society with prominent citizens joining the protest.
