Twitter Renews Deal with MLB to Live-Stream Weekly Games The social media platform will live-stream one game a week that viewers can watch for free at live.twitter.com/MLB and @MLB on Twitter. Twitter won't have exclusive rights to the games, meaning they will be simulcast from the team's local TV broadcast. Much like Facebook's streaming deal with the MLB, all of the games broadcast will be day games. The first game will stream on April 5 and will show the Texas Rangers taking on the Oakland Athletics at 3:35 p.m. EST. In addition to showing the games, the MLB will make highlights available in real time on its Twitter page.
