Billionaire Mark Cuban has yet to decide whether he'll run for president in 2020, but he did recently suggest that the Democrats losing in the midterm elections could influence his decision. He said at an Axios event held at Ohio State University, "If Republicans hold then I think there's an opportunity for somebody to run as an independent."  Cuban was quite active in the 2016 race, openly criticizing then-candidate Donald Trump and offering his support for Hillary Clinton. Though he has considered running for the high office himself, he's also voiced reservations. Cuban said in an October interview, "If I was single, I would do it. For sure."  He is not, and has expressed concern about how a campaign would impact his wife and three children. A December poll from Public Policy Polling showed that if Cuban were to launch a campaign, it could work out well for him. A survey of voters in Texas showed that in a hypothetical race, Cuban came out ahead of Trump by 3 points.
