Sean Spicer Suggests Trump Will Not Face Punishment For Sexual Harassment Allegations, Voters Are His 'HR Department'

Sean Spicer suggested that President Trump will not be punished in connection to the multiple sexual harassment allegations against him, as voters are his HR department.

Former White House press secretary Sean Spicer recently suggested that President Trump will not be punished in connection with the multiple sexual harassment allegations against him, as voters are his "HR department," reports BuzzFeed News.  He made the comment while speaking at a human resources conference in Washington, D.C. "Elected people are in a very unique position because the people elected them into office. That is the HR department, so to speak," Spicer reportedly said. He could very well be correct. Prior to the 2016 election, a large number of women accused Trump of sexual misconduct. While it's impossible to say if he will ever have to address those accusations in a meaningful way, he has become immersed in a scandal involving his alleged affair with adult film star Stormy Daniels. In her recent '60 Minutes' interview, Daniels shared details about her 2006 encounter with Trump and the $130,000 she reportedly received from Trump's attorney, Michael Cohen, just before the 2016 presidential election.
However, Trump has denied the allegations.
At Monday's press briefing, White House deputy press secretary Raj Shah clarified Trump's position on the matter, noting, "The President strongly clearly and consistently has denied these underlying claims. The only one who has been inconsistent is the one making the claims."
