Easter Spending in 2018 to be Second Largest Ever The National Retail Federation estimates that Americans will spend $18.2 billion on the holiday, just behind last year's record of $18.4. The annual survey projects that 81 percent of Americans will be celebrating Easter this year and each person will spend an average of $150.
