Students and anti-fascist protesters marched to join the planned public sector strike in Paris on March 22.According to local reports, members of anti-fascist and far-left groups marched through Paris to join a planned rail workers’ strike at Gare de l’Est, a station in the 10th arrondissement. Police used tear gas after projectiles were thrown, l’Express said.]Further protests were planned for later in the day.Railway workers, nurses, teachers, air-traffic controllers and others took part in strikes across France in response to changes in policy, budget cuts and the elimination of special employment rights for public sector workers.
