Police fired tear gas at protesters who had set cars on fire and thrown molotov cocktails, in the Breil district of Nantes, western France, on July 4, after police shot a 22-year-old man during a traffic stop earlier that day.The driver refused to comply with requests and hit an officer, France24 reported, citing police sources.This footage shows tear gas being fired near the Rue des Plantes, where the driver was reported to have been shot earlier that day, and where clashes were reported later, according to Ouest-France.
