Meditation For Calming Emotional Pain and Upset

This therapist-guided meditation contains both a calming body scan and some simple, gentle, body movements. When we are in emotional pain and upset, when we disassociate, our connection from body and mind is disturbed and the distress we experience can elevate.

Mindfulness meditations serve to connect us to ourselves in the here and now, where we can become calmer and more grounded. This may not come quickly or easily, but with regular practice will become second nature.

Please use this meditation before bed in order to facilitate sleep, or during the day to reset and lessen anxiety, depression, anger, and other upset.
