Jayarajan sought dropping of UAPA charges; CPI(M) leader's plea rejected by Kerala HC

A huge setback for CPIM leader P Jayarajan. The Kerala High Court has rejected Jayarajan's plea to drop unlawful activities prevention act (UAPA) charges against him. CPI(M) Kannur district secretary P Jayarajan have moved a plea in Kerala HC seeking to quash the UAPA charges against him in Kathiroor Manoj murder case. The High Court also asked if the government was trying to help the accused.
