Recently celebrating 20th edition, the Kala Ghoda Arts Festival pays an ode to art and artists every year.
The Kala Ghoda Association was formed on 30th October 1998 with the object of maintaining and preserving the heritage and art district of South Mumbai.
Kala Ghoda Arts Festival is the country’s largest multicultural festival, taking place in February each year. The Festival draws visitors in large numbers, not just from the city but from all over the country, and the world. as quoted on their website.
This years theme was Hara Ghoda that promotes a Sustainable Future for our Planet. The Kala Ghoda Arts Festival brings to the stage the wonders of nature shown through performance and art. The raging flames of the Fire of Victory (Agni), the Liquid Blue of Aqua (Jal), the Indefinable Air (Vayu), the Indestructible Earth (Prithvi) and the Realms of Space (Aakash), finds its place and artistic representation at the Kala Ghoda Arts Festival 2018.
The art extravaganza explodes with a riot of events and activities by organizing programs under various categories including theatre, dance, music, food and more.
