'Atlanta's Season 2 Premiere got Incredible Ratings FX released the official numbers from the show's first episode of the second season and they're pretty impressive. 2.7 million people tuned in either for the episodes first airing, one of the two encores or streamed it this past weekend. 1.3 million of those viewers that tuned were in the adults whose ages were 18-49, up seven percent from last year's premiere. All in all, those numbers combined to make the episode the best basic cable primetime scripted comedy telecast in the past year. Atlanta, which has won both a Golden Globe and an Emmy, airs Wednesdays at 10 p.m. on FX.
