The Republican Party had a challenging task at the party convention - Make Donald Trump look presidential. They started by projecting an America dangerously distressed in the desperate grip of Barack Obama then they warned of more calamity looming
ahead in the guise of crooked Hillary Clinton. Vice-presidential teammate Mike Pence painted a different picture, depicting a hero on the horizon who was ready to save the day.

When Trump finally took the stage he saw the darkness everywhere and offered muscular solutions to the nation's demons. Whether he was presidential or a demon himself it would be up to the voters to draw their own conclusions.
