Actor turned politician, Kamal Hassan today faced stiff opposition from the district unit of the Hindu Munnani to visit a school in Ramanathapuram which is the alma mater of former president APJ Abdul Kalam, saying Hassan's visit to school is political. Family members of late President APJ Kalam have welcomed Haasan to kickstart his political journey from their residence in Rameshwaram. Ahead of his mega political plunge on February 21 , Kamal Haasan is on a meeting-spree. Haasan met superstar counterpart Rajinikanth calling the meeting a courtesy call. He also met DMK Supremo Karunanidhi to seek his blessings to kickstart his political journey.
