Two waterspouts formed off the coast of Kihei, Hawaii, on Tuesday, February 6, as heavy rainstorms swept across Maui island.Hawaii News Now reported the “unstable” weather pattern hitting the island could stick around through Wednesday, causing severe thunderstorms and multiple waterspouts. The National Weather Service forecasted Maui could see two inches of rain per hour during the storm band.
