Super Bowl viewers were confused Sunday when their screens suddenly went black.
The NBC broadcast went out for several seconds during the first half of the game between the Philadelphia Eagles and New England Patriots.
The incident occurred as a commercial break was supposed to begin.
NBC quickly released a statement to explain what happened.
The spokesperson said, “We had a brief equipment failure that we quickly resolved. No game action or commercial time were missed.”
