HOUSTON — Tom Brady says his Super Bowl game-winning jersey was stolen from the Patriots locker room after New England won Super Bowl LI following an epic comeback against the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday.

Brady appeared agitated as he looked around for his jersey in the locker room after the game, USA Today reported.

“It was right here. I know exactly where I put it,” Brady said as he asked security and Patriots equipment managers to help him look.

The Super Bowl MVP searched several bags and told players that were next to him that his No. 12 jersey was gone.

When owner Robert Kraft came into the locker room, Brady told him that someone lifted his jersey.

“Somebody stole my game jersey,” Brady said. He then pointed to his locker and said, “Yeah, right over there.”

“Well we’ll have to look online,” Kraft said.

When Brady was heading out of the stadium, reporters asked him if he had found his jersey.

“No,” he replied. “It is going to be on eBay soon, I guess.”

Turns out that Brady’s jersey is safe. Apparently a Patriots equipment manager locked the jersey up for safe keeping after the game.
