Federal Reserve Chair Janet Yellen is headed to the Brookings Institution after her tenure leading the Fed.
Yellen will take a position as a distinguished fellow at the institute, which means she will remain active in the debate over monetary policy and US interest rates.
According to reports, Yellen will not take any time off, as she will transition from the Federal Reserve to the Brookings' Hutchins Center for Fiscal and Monetary Policy over the weekend.
