Consider ICSI for Male Factor Infertility - Dr. Yukti Wadhawan (Gynecologist & IVF Specialist)
Male factor Infertility is considered to be more complex than the female factor. It may cause multiple IVF failures. Male factor infertility includes low sperm count, poor morphology or poor motility. To overcome these issues and for a successful In Vitro Fertilization ICSI treatment is used. During the ICSI process, a single sperm is picked and directly injected into the retrieved egg to create the embryo. This process ensures a higher success rate of the IVF treatment.
