Hurricane Irma was an extremely powerful and catastrophic hurricane, the strongest observed in the Atlantic since Hurricane Wilma in 2005 in terms of maximum sustained winds. It was the most intense Atlantic Hurricane to strike the United States since Katrina in 2005 and the first major hurricane e to make landfall in Florida since Wilma in 2005.

I was fortunate enough to be in Dallas with my family during the hurricane. In this video I show you the after math of Hurricane Irma. Miami was barely touched. The city only got category 1 hurricane winds.

A hurricane is a tropical cyclone with at least 74 mph winds. Category 1 hurricanes have 74 mph winds and a category 5 is a hurricane with winds exceeding 156 mph.

Were you effected by Hurricane Irma? Have you ever been through a hurricane? If so, leave me a comment below!
