Padmaavat row: After SC refused to modify order, Madhya Pradesh CM announces Padmavat release

In what is being seen as a triumph for Freedom over Fringe, the Supreme Court (SC) today turned down the pleas by the Karni Sena and petitions filed by Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh government for banning Sanjay Leela Bhansali's movie Padmavat. The court has now cleared the decks for pan India release of the movie.
