Film Padmavat's lawyer Harish Salve threatened for defending the director of the film 'Padmaavat' in a recent court case. According to PTI Salve received a phone call on his office landline and was allegedly threatened for speaking in favour of the film. After this police registered an FIR against an unknown person and said that the matter was being probed. The Supreme Court on Thursday stayed the ban on the release of 'Padmaavat' imposed by the governments of Gujarat, Rajasthan, Haryana and Madhya Pradesh, allowing for an all-India release on January 25.
