On Sunday, Reuters reported that government officials across the United States are trying to maintain accurate voter rolls by removing people who have died or moved away. The search comes at a time when the US Supreme Court is looking into a case where some states are aggressively purging voter rolls away. They are looking into a lower court ruling where they blocked its policy of erasing from voter registration lists against people who do not regularly cast a ballot.
