A storm surge flooded Boston’s Northern Avenue and Seaport Boulevard during a nor’easter that hammered the northeast on Thursday, January 4.Boston firefighters had to rescue people from stranded vehicles, including near the New England Aquarium, a news report said.Flooding was reported in coastal communities south of Boston during the storm as well.
