Trump: Protesters In Iran Will See 'Great Support' From US 'At The Appropriate Time'

President Trump tweeted Wednesday that protesters in Iran will see "great support" from the U.S. "at the appropriate time."

President Trump on Wednesday continued to express his support for the anti-government protesters in Iran.
"Such respect for the people of Iran as they try to take back their corrupt government. You will see great support from the United States at the appropriate time!" Trump wrote on Twitter.
The tweet was one of many he has posted since the protests over economic grievances erupted in Iran on Thursday.
"Iran is failing at every level despite the terrible deal made with them by the Obama Administration," Trump tweeted on Monday. "The great Iranian people have been repressed for many years. They are hungry for food & for freedom. Along with human rights, the wealth of Iran is being looted. TIME FOR CHANGE!"
When asked what Trump sees as the "end game" in Iran, White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders told reporters on Tuesday, "I think the ultimate end game would be that the citizens and the people of Iran are actually given basic human rights, and he'd certainly like to see them stop being a state sponsor of terror.  I think that's something the whole world would like to see."
The protests have claimed 21 lives so far.
