More than 80 women came forward to accuse Weinstein of sexual assault and other charges, including Angelina Jolie and Gwyneth Paltrow.

Many women said their alleged encounters occurred at the five-star Peninsula Hotel in Beverly Hills, but the DA’s office did not reveal details of the cases presented to them.

Weinstein denied all of the claims against him, saying that he believed all of the sex was consensual. He was fired from his company and kicked out of the Academy in the wake of the numerous accusations.
