US Auto Sales Slip For Third Month

According to industry consultants, US auto sales are shifting into a lower gear for the third consecutive month.
J.D. Power and LMC Automotive added that aggressive discounts by manufacturers have not been enough to increase sales, which have slipped when compared to the same months last year.
Retail sales through December are expected to drop by 2.6-percent when compared to last year.
That roughly equates to 1.3 million less vehicles being sold.
