Following a massive stamp of approval from Triple J in their native Australia with Feature Album of the week, The Jungle Giants announce the international release of Speakerzoid. Speakerzoid - the band’s stellar sophomore album - will be released Stateside October 2nd on Amplifire Music via Kobalt Label Services. A giant leap forward from their singular debut Learn To Exist (2013), Speakerzoid is a fresh and inventive indie pop/rock record full of catchy-as-hell melodies, jangly guitar riffs, pulsing rhythms, provocative narratives, and liberally applied cowbell. The Jungle Giants are quickly becoming Australia’s most electrifying and fun-loving up-and-comers.
Recorded with producer Magoo in a makeshift studio inside of a 4-bedroom house in the mountain ranges of Australia, Speakerzoid is a beat-laden, percussive, groove-fueled album that proves The Jungle Giants have chops and they’re not afraid to use them. No longer just a few talented teens making music together, the band is now a group of formidable and creative musicians who have managed to push their musicality to new limits while effortless maintaining their signature exuberance. The result of this immense growth is an accomplished, ebullient and downright interesting record with Queensland sun oozing out of each track.
The Jungle Giants are: Sam Hales, Cesira Aitken, Andrew Dooris and Keelan Bjiker. Be on the look-out for this foursome, as Speakerzoid firmly establishes them as a force to be reckoned with not just in the Australian music scene, but as an international artist to watch.
