India vs SL 2nd ODI: Washington Sundar makes his one day debut, replaces Kuldeep Yadav|Oneindia News

Tamil Nadu all-rounder Washington Sundar is making his ODI debut in Mohali, Team India's head coach Ravi Shastri gave Sundar the converted cap. Sundar is replacing chinaman bowler Kuldeep Yadav. 18-year-old Washington Sundar, apart from being a technically sound batsman, is also an useful off-spinner. His all-round abilities would give India the extra cushion in their brittle batting order. Sundar made the cut in Team India's T20 team against Sri Lanka before being named a last minute replacement for the injured Kedar Jadhav during this series.
