Former President of Yemen Killed in Country's Capital

Ali Abdullah Saleh, the former president of Yemen has reportedly been killed outside the country's capital, Sanaa, in what sources say was a rocket-propelled grenade and gun attack. Saleh, who led Yemen for over three decades, met his death at the hands of the Houthi movement — his erstwhile allies in the country's current civil war. During his time as president, Saleh unified his country by force, but also helped guide it toward collapse in its latest war.
