Nasralla and Opposition Supporters March in Tegucigalpa

Presidential candidate and opposition leader Salvador Nasralla marched with his supporters in Tegucigalpa on December 3 “against fraud and for peace and justice in Honduras,” according to these Facebook posts.Nasralla campaigned against President Juan Orlando Hernandez on an anti-corruption platform represented by the Opposition Alliance, which consists of the Liberal Party and the opposition leader’s own PAC (Partido Anticorrupcion). After a computer glitch that shut down vote counting for several hours, Nasralla has “alleged fraud and said he won’t respect the official results,” according to reports.The government has “called for a curfew” and “suspended constitutional rights” in response to protests against President Hernandez, according to a report from NPR.
