Iceland has qualified for its first ever World Cup this year. At the World cup Draw the team got placed in Group D, with their first match against Lionel Messi and Argentina. Iceland is a small nation of 330,000 people so qualifying for the World Cup is a tremendous achievement. The Icelandic team is not a pushover but the Argentinian team will be a tough first match for them. After playing Argentina they will play Croatia and Nigeria two other difficult teams.
