Firefighters on Friday put out an intense fire which burned down two homes in Chula Vista, California.

One of the residents was treated for injuries at the scene, according to Battalion Chief Richard Brocchini.

He said residents of both homes were displaced by the fire and were expecting assistance from the American Red Cross.
