The Rajputs today protested in Delhi's Sadarpur Bazar against the film padmavati, which they claim deeply hurts the Rajput pride and shows Rani Padmavati in a bad light. The film has been attacked from the initial days when the shoot had started and the film set and Bhansali himself had been attacked several times. The Karni Sena also went to an extent of placing a bounty of Deepika Padukone playing the character of Padmavti. The movie has also been banned in certain states.
