Drone Footage Shows Historic Georgia Dome Implosion

The historic Georgia Dome was demolished in Atlanta, Georgia, on November 20. The former home to the NFL’s Atlanta Falcons was brought down by a meticulously planned implosion.The nearly 5,000 pounds of explosives that were used took the building down in a matter of seconds, according to the Washington Post.The space where the dome was located will be utilized as a green space for parking, tailgating and community events.
