GST Council meeting begins today, tax rules revision. The Goods and Services Tax (GST) Council is set to further amend tax rules to fix glitches in the new indirect tax system and make it easier for businesses and traders to settle into it. The move comes as a tacit admission by the authorities of the flaws in the system that have made it hard for businesses and traders to make a smooth transition, and that the system started off with high compliance requirements. वस्तु एवं सेवा कर पर आ रही शिकायतों के मद्देनजर आज असम के गुवाहाटी में GST काउंसिल में बैठक होगी। GST काउंसिल की 23वीं बैठक दो दिनों तक चलेगी, जिसमें कई बड़े फैसले लिए जा सकते हैं। वित्त मंत्री की अध्यक्षता में होने वाली GST काउंसिल की बैठक में कुछ ऐसे फैसले लिए जा सकते हैं जिससे लोगों की शिकायतें दूर हो सकती हैं। माना जा रहा है कि इस बैठक में रोजमर्रा की चीजों पर लगने वाले जीएसटी की दरें घटाई जा सकती हैं।जैसे मेकअप के सामान, इलेक्ट्रिक बल्ब और घर बनाने के काम में लगने वाली छोटी-बड़ी चीजों पर लगने वाला जीएसटी 18 फीसदी से घटकर 12 फीसदी तक हो सकता है। यह भी कहा जा रहा है कि एसी रेस्तरां में खाना खाने पर भी जीएसटी 18 फीसदी से घटा कर 12 फीसदी किया जा सकता है। पूरी जानकारी के लिए देखें ये वीडियो |
