GST Council meeting: increased tax on mobile phones, relief on these products. Now buying mobile phones will become expensive. In fact, in the 39th meeting of the GST Council, mobile phones have been included in the tax slab of 18 per cent. Earlier this product was in 12% slab. In this sense, the tax on mobile phones has increased by 6%.

अब मोबाइल फोन खरीदना महंगा हो जाएगा. दरअसल, GST काउंसिल की 39वीं बैठक में मोबाइल फोन को 18 फीसदी के टैक्‍स स्‍लैब में शामिल किया गया है. इससे पहले ये प्रोडक्‍ट 12 फीसदी के स्‍लैब में था. इस लिहाज से मोबाइल फोन पर टैक्‍स में 6 फीसदी की बढ़ोतरी हुई है.
