Meteorological Department had warned a few days ago that in Delhi on 7th November i.e. today, air lock can be done. Air lock means that when the polluted particles in the atmosphere will stop in the same place. That would make a huge smell in the morning and afternoon. The astronomers had said that the speed of air from south-west direction would be less in the coming days. This will increase pollution levels. Which will turn into smog. This environment can prove to be very dangerous for the people.

मौसम विभाग ने कुछ दिन पहले चेतावनी थी कि दिल्‍ली में 7 नवंबर यानी आज के दिन एयर लॉक हो सकता है. एयर लॉक यानी ऐसी स्थिति जब वातावरण में प्रदूषित कण एक ही जगह ठहर जाएंगे. जिससे सुबह और दोपहर को भारी स्मॉग पड़ेगा.मौसम वैज्ञानिकों ने कहा था कि दक्षिण-पश्चिम दिशा से चलने वाली हवा की गति आने वाले दिनों में कम रहेगी. इससे प्रदूषण का स्तर बढ़ता जाएगा. जो स्मॉग में तब्दील हो जाएगा. यह वातावरण लोगों के लिए बेहद खतरनाक साबित हो सकता है.
