Russia probe: Mueller's evidence

US Federal investigators have enough evidence in the investigation into former national security advisor Michael Flynn and his son as part of the Russian election probe, according to NBC News which cites multiple sources.
Special Counsel Robert Mueller is reportedly applying pressure on General Flynn after the indictment of Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort.
“In this scenario, I can imagine Michael Flynn saying…I don’t care what happens to me…but I do care what happens to my son…so I would like you to apply credit for my cooperation to my son and keep him out of prison,” former US attorney Barbara McQuade told NBC News.
The national security advisor was fired after just 24 days. He was one of the first to come under scrutiny in the investigation of possible collusion between Russia and the Trump campaign.
“This is serious business,” former DNC chairman Howard Dean told NBC News. “These people are undermining our democracy. And it appears to me that Bob Mueller is investigating is whether the President of the United States engaged with a foreign power to get where he got.”
As US President Trump continues his 11-day Asian tour, his defenders say there is a reason Flynn was fired.
“This goes back to what President Trump has promised all through the campaign about pushing back and keeping everything away with special interests and lobbyists that have any appearance of a conflict of interest,” said Bruce Levell, Trump Media Advisory Board.
It has also been revealed that current commerce secretary Wilbur Ross shares business interests with Vladimir Putin’s immediate family, something he failed to clearly disclose before taking the cabinet position.
“Ross did not return calls to NBC News but the Commerce Department said in a statement the Secretary works closely with ethics officials to ensure the highest standards,” reported Jennifer Johnson from NBC News, Washington.
