President Trump on Wednesday again took aim at Robert Mueller's Russia probe.
President Trump on Wednesday quoted his former lead attorney John Dowd to dismiss special counsel Robert Mueller's probe into Russia's interference in US elections.
"'This isn't some game. You are screwing with the work of the president of the United States.' John Dowd, March 2018. With North Korea, China, the Middle East and so much more, there is not much time to be thinking about this, especially since there was no Russian 'Collusion,'" Trump tweeted.
Dowd's quote appears to be from a Washington Post story.
In the recent past, Trump has posted many tweets on the probe, calling it a "witch hunt."
"There was no Collusion (it is a Hoax) and there is no Obstruction of Justice (that is a setup & trap). What there is is Negotiations going on with North Korea over Nuclear War, Negotiations going on with China over Trade Deficits, Negotiations on NAFTA, and much more. Witch Hunt!" Trump tweeted earlier on Wednesday.
And he used that phrase in multiple tweets last month.
"[Former FBI Director] James Comey Memos just out and show clearly that there was NO COLLUSION and NO OBSTRUCTION. Also, he leaked classified information. WOW! Will the Witch Hunt continue?" Trump wrote on April 19.
